Context

IBM was developing the Cognitive Enterprise Data Platform (CEDP) to enable organizations to manage, discover, and activate enterprise data at scale. However, the ecosystem consisted of multiple research-driven tools and disconnected interfaces, creating fragmentation across the user experience and limiting product scalability.

Transform a complex set of research initiatives into a unified enterprise platform, establishing design standards, scalable frameworks, and a cohesive user experience across multiple data products.

Role

As Design Lead, I led strategic design initiatives for the Cognitive Enterprise Data Platform, managing distributed design teams and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Research. My responsibilities included defining experience frameworks, aligning design with IBM’s design system, establishing delivery KPIs, and ensuring consistent execution across the platform ecosystem.
